My name is Matt Stefanik and I am The Lifestyle Architect. I am living the dream – my dream. I am doing exactly in life what I always envisioned as a youth. I have total time freedom. I can work where I want. I can go where I want. I can do what I want.
Professionally I am a marketer, speaker, serial entrepreneur, business consultant, and writer. I am a husband to my wonderful wife and best friend Amy, a father of three, an action taker, and a kicker of life’s ass!
Things you should know….I’m a born and raised Ohioan, huge Buckeyes fan, and all sports Cleveland fan. I like playing sports, watching sports, and talking sports. I love craft beer, craftsmanship, and Aaron Craft. I’m also a total goof ball, jokester, and laugh easy. Movie lines are part of my vernacular. Can you spot them in my posts? Also, solving puzzles is my jam – I do them every day.
I’ve been self-employed since 2002 because I refuse to work for anyone else. I refuse to let anyone dictate my time, my income, and my situation. I am a full believer in “The Secret” – that life is a self-fulfilling prophecy. What you think about you bring about. I believe attitude is everything. I believe we all have the ability and power to manifest exactly what we want in life.
Those that talk about lack, need, misery, etc. get more of the same. This holds true for those, like me, that talk about success, abundance, and happiness. Although I haven’t had a job in over 14 years, it hasn’t always been easy. In fact, we’ve been through some very difficult times, not just financially but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The path of the lifestyle architect is not easy, but damn is it worthwhile!
I’ve lost multiple houses to foreclosure all at once. I’ve had my car repossessed. I’ve had to sell everything of value I owned just to pick up, move my family, and start over. I’ve borrowed money from just about every one of my family member’s that had a dime to lend. I’ve dealt with disapproving family. I’ve been told I needed “to be a man and go get a real job.” I laugh at that these days.
Through all of it – the ups and downs – deep down I smiled. I realized a long time ago it’s not about the end but the journey. Plus, I’ve always had full confidence in where I was heading in life, and when you truly believe that you’ll make it, that you’ll realize your dreams, you can appreciate the journey because it’s all part of it. I also believe that “EQ” (emotional quotient) is more important than “IQ” (intellectual quotient). Basically, how you handle things is more important than what you know about things.
The goal and purpose of this blog is to document the things I do – such as Facebook marketing, building online sales funnels, e-commerce, consulting, speaking, living the dream, etc. – that allow me to do what I want, go where I want, and get what I want – such as spending quality time with my family, weekend road trips, vacations, cruises, nice cars, etc, so that you might be inspired to do the same.
Because I want you to love your life too. If you love your life, you’ll be a happier person. If you’re a happier person, you’ll treat people better, and if you treat people better, you’ll be doing your part to make the world a better place and then so will I.
Watch, listen, and learn because it’s a fun, fun world if you want it to be. I want to give you the tools, resources, training, and inspiration to make your dream a reality. Join me!
To Your Success,
